Questions people ask before they sign up
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It does not expire, it does not ask for a card, and it is not switched off when you stop answering emails. One building, forever, is the offer.
What happens at the 90-day history line?
Visits older than 90 days stop being visible in the free plan's screens. They are not deleted; if you move to a paid plan the full history is there. If you leave, ask and we export it for you.
Do I need special hardware?
A computer with a browser and a webcam. Badges print to a label printer (DYMO and Brother are what our customers use) or to any ordinary printer. ID scanning on the municipal plan uses a barcode scanner that reads the back of a driver's licence.
Where does the screening data come from?
We collect and maintain sex-offender registry data for all 50 states ourselves rather than reselling a third party's feed. The screening runs on every check-in, on every plan, including the free one.
Can I run more than one building on the free plan?
No, and we do not gate that with an honour system: the second building needs the per-building plan. A single free account per organisation is the intent.
